Directions to Nassau County Pools

BELMONT LAKE STATE PARK
Southern State Parkway to exit 38. Enter the park and go left.

BETHPAGE HIGH SCHOOL
Southern State Parkway to exit 28A North (Rte 135-Seaford/Oyster Bay Expressway). Get off exit 9 (Plainview Road). Make a left under the bridge. Proceed to the fork in the road about 100 yards ahead. Take the right fork. There will be a set of bleachers on the let turn into parking lot. The pool is located in the basement of this building.

CHRISTOPHER MORLEY PARK - ROSLYN
From Hempstead - Franklin Ave. North thru Garden City. When Franklin crosses Old Country Road and you go over the bridge, it becomes Mineola Blvd. Take Mineola Blvd. To Jericho Tpke. Make a left, you will be heading west. Take Jericho Tpke to Herricks Road and make right. Take Herricks to the end and bear right. This is Searington Rd. After going under the LIE. the park will be on your right about ¼ mile
 

CLINTON G. MARTIN - NEW HYDE PARK
Take Hempstead Tpke West to New Hyde Park Rd. and make a right. Take New Hyde Park. Rd. all the way into New Hyde Park. When you get to the big intersection of New Hyde Park Rd, Union Tpke, and Marcus Ave. make a left on Marcus Ave. The pool is on the corner of Marcus Ave. and New Hyde Park Rd.

FARMINGDALE HIGH SCHOOL
Southern State Pkwy. To exit 32 North. (Rte 110) Go to first traffic light (bowling Alley on left and gas station on right) and turn left onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street to red, traffic light. make a left on Midwood and continue until you see the high school. The parking lot is at the rear of the High School.

FOREST CITY PARK - NORTH BELLMORE
Take Jerusalem Avenue to Douglas Ave. and make a right. Make first right onto Murdock Road. Continue on Murdock Rd., which turns into Morgan Drive. Pool is on your right in the second bend.
 

FREEPORT RECREATION CENTER
Take Meadowbrook Pkwy East and exit Merrick Rd West. The pool is about ½ mile west of the Meadowbrook Pkwy on the left-hand side of Merrick Rd.
 

GARDEN CITY POOL
(From Hempstead) Take Hempstead Tpke. West to Cherry Valley Ave. and make a left. You will be in West Hempstead (It is the street before shopping center). Follow this street to pool. Pool is on the left.

HOFSTRA UNITVERSITY
From eastern Long Island: Take the Northern State Parkway West, to the Meadowbrook Parkway South (Exit 31A) or take the Southern State Parkway West to the Meadowbrook Parkway North (Exit 22N) ... Stay on the Meadowbrook Parkway until Exit M4 (sign reads "Hempstead" and "Coliseum") ... From Exit M4 of the Meadowbrook Parkway you will be on Route 24 West (Hempstead Turnpike) ... Stay on 24W for about one mile ... Pass Nassau Coliseum ... Hofstra University is on both sides of Hempstead Turnpike ... The Sports complex is on the Right side.
 

KINGS POINT - (Merchant Marine Academy)
L.I.E. to exit 33 (Community Drive) Proceed North, Community Drive becomes East Shore Road. Continue to Middle Neck Rd. Make a right and a left onto Steamboat Rd and proceed to the Academy entrance. The pool is the 2nd building on the left Park in the lot in front of the pool

LONG BEACH
TakeLong Beach Rd across bridge into Long Beach. Make right onto Park Ave., and right onto Magnolia Blvd. The pool is at the end of this block in the Long Beach Recreation Center.

MARJORIE POST PARK - (Massapequa)
Take Southern State Pkwy. to exit 29A South (Seaford/Oyster Ray Expressway - Rte 135). Take this to the Sunrise Highway East. Stay on Sunrise Hwy. Until you get to Unqua Rd. (if you pass the Sunrise Mall. you have gone too far)make a right on Unqua Rd. The pool is on the right.
 

MALIBU POOL - (Lido)
Take Southern State Pkwy. To exit 22 South, (Meadowbrook Pkwy.). Follow the signs to Point Lookout. When you exit onto Lido Blvd., (Point Lookout is in front of you). Make a right. Malibu Club will be on your left.

NASSAU COUNTY AQUATIC CENTER (Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, L.I.)

From VERRAZANO BRIDGE - Take the BELT PKY EAST. Merge onto BELT PKWY EAST( 3.4 miles).Stay to the left, BELT PKWY EAST becomes SOUTHERN STATE PKWY EAST(go 8.8 miles). Take the MEADOWBROOK PARKWAY NORTH exit, exit number 22N, towards NORTHERN PARKWAY. Merge onto MEADOWBROOK PKWY N.(go 2.0 miles). Take the RT-24 EAST exit, exit number M5, towards EAST MEADOW/FARMINGDALE. Merge onto HEMPSTEAD TPKE. At first traffic light Turn LEFT onto MERRICK AVE. Eisenhower Park will be on the right. Parking Field ONE will be the 1st entrance on the right.

From THROGS NECK BRIDGE - Take the CROSS IS PKWY exit towards EASTERN L I. Merge onto CROSS ISLAND PKWY SOUTH(go 3.5 miles). Take the I-495/L I EXPWY exit, exit number 30, towards EASTERN L I. Merge onto LONG ISLAND EXWY(go 4.1 miles). Take the exit, exit number 35, towards SHELTER ROCK RD/MANHASSET(go 0.1 miles). Merge onto S SERVICE RD(go 0.1 miles). Turn RIGHT onto SHELTER ROCK RD(go 0.1 miles). Take the NORTHERN STATE PKY EAST ramp(0.2 miles). Merge onto NORTHERN PKWY EAST(go 4.0 miles). Take the MEADOWBROOK PARKWAY exit, exit number 31A, towards JONES BEACH(go 0.6 miles). Merge onto MEADOWBROOK PKWY S(go 1.7 miles). Take the exit, exit number M3 W, towards STEWART AVE(go 0.2 miles). Stay straight to go onto MERCHANTS CONCOURSE 0.1 miles. Turn LEFT onto STEWART AVE(go 0.5 miles). STEWART AVE becomes PARK BLVD(0.8 miles). After entering Eisenhower Park proceed to Parking Field number 6.

From points EAST - Take NORTHERN STATE PKWY Take the MEADOWBROOK PARKWAY exit, exit number 31A, towards JONES BEACH(go 0.6 miles). Merge onto MEADOWBROOK PKWY S(go 1.7 miles). Take the exit, exit number M3 W, towards STEWART AVE(go 0.2 miles). Stay straight to go onto MERCHANTS CONCOURSE 0.1 miles. Turn LEFT onto STEWART AVE(go 0.5 miles). STEWART AVE becomes PARK BLVD(0.8 miles). After entering Eisenhower Park proceed to Parking Field number 6.

From SOUTHERN STATE PKWY - the MEADOWBROOK PARKWAY NORTH exit, exit number 22N, towards NORTHERN PARKWAY. Merge onto MEADOWBROOK PKWY N.(go 2.0 miles). Take the RT-24 EAST exit, exit number M5, towards EAST MEADOW/FARMINGDALE. Merge onto HEMPSTEAD TPKE. At first traffic light Turn LEFT onto MERRICK AVE. Eisenhower Park will be on the right. Parking Field ONE will be the 1st entrance on the right.

NEWERIDGE ROAD PARK - BELLMORE
Take Southern State Pkwy to exit 25A. Which should be Newbridge Rd. Continue straight and cross over Sunrise Hwy. and Merrick Rd. Take Newbridge Rd. to the end. The park is right there.

PARKWOOD POOL - (Great Neck)
Franklin Ave. North thru Garden City. When Franklin Ave. crosses Old Country Rd. and go over the bridge. Franklin Ave becomes Mineola Blvd. Take Mineola Blvd. To Jericho Tpke. And make a left. Continue on Jericho Tkpe To Lakeville Rd. and make right. When Lakeville Rd. crosses Northern Blvd It becomes Middle Neck Rd. take Middle Neck Rd. thru Russell Gardens. Great Neck Plaza and Kesington into Great Neck. After passing a park on your left, the next street is Arrandale Ave. Make a left. The park is on your right.

VETERANS POOL - (East Meadow)
From Hempstead. Take Jerusalem Ave. towards Merrick. At the fork in the road bear left onto North Jerusalem Rd. Get in the left lane and make a left onto Bellmore Ave. Get in right lane and make a right onto Prospect Ave. Follow Prospect Ave. until you seethe pool on your right.
