Directions to Suffolk County Sites

DEER PARK
Southern State Pkwy. To exit 39 North (Rte 231 - Deer Park Ave.) Immediately after the LIRR trestle, make a left onto Acorn St. At the first block, make a right onto North 1st Ave. The Pool is on this block, on the left.

CONNETQUOT
Vets Highway to Sacamore Street head south. First right on to Seventh Avenue, follow road about 1 mile into parking lot of high school.

HUNTINGTON YMCA
Southern State Pkwy. To exit 32 North (Rte 110) Take Rte 110 (you will drive for a while) to Rte 25A (Northern Blvd.) Make a right Go to the 2nd hill. You will see a white church on your left. The Huntington "y" is on the right.

HUNTINGTON YATCH CLUB
Follow the directions for Huntington "Y" except stay on Rte 110 (Rte 110 Is sometimes called Walt Whitman Rd. or New York Ave.) Take Rte 110 to the end. Continue straight ahead. You are now on East Dhore Rd. After driving a few minutes, you will see the Yacht Club on your left.

LINDENHURST
Southern State Pkwy to exit 33 (Wellwood Ave. South. After crossing Sunrise Hwy., travel 3 traffic lights to East John St. make left turn. Go about 1 mile on East John St., the pool (Lindenhurst High School) will be on the left on North Lewis St.

STONYBROOK
Take Southern State Pkwy. To Sagitos Pkwy. Take Sagitos to L.I.E. east to exit 62 North (Nichols Rd. Rte 97) sign says Stonybrook/Blue Point. Stay on the service road and follow it around. Make 2nd right onto Rte 347 east. Proceed about 12 miles pass University Hospital on right. Just past University Hospital on the left is the entrance to the University. Follow entrance and drive to infirmary Rd. Turn left and follow Infirmary Rd. to parking lot at the end of the road. The pool is just North on the parking lot.
OR
L.I.E. to exit 62. go North on 97 to Stonybrook (also known as Nichols Rd.) Proceed approximately 11 miles. Turn left at third University entrance (just before Rte 25A) At top of hill. make a left and follow the road around to first left hand turn. Parking lot is up the hill on the left-hand side of the road. There are two entrances on the left for parking lot. Gymnasium building is the only large building at the top of the road leading to parking lot.

From the east or west take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 53. Follow signs to Wicks Road.
Go south ½ mile on Wicks Road to campus entrance on right-hand side.

WARD MELVILLE HIGH SCHOOL-(Three Village Swim Club)
L.I.E. east to exit 62, Nichols Rd. (Rte 97). Stay on the service road and go around circle and make 2nd right (347east-Nesconset Hwy.) take Rte 347 for about 2 to 3 miles to Old Town Road. Make left on Old Town Road. The High School is on this street. Use the north parking lot.
